The Total application connections graph shows new application connections over time so you can determine per-day traffic levels over time. This allows you to identify trends and busy/idle days.
The Total application connections graph displays the total number of connections over the last seven days (grouped by day). By default, the graph shows the total number of connections for the entire application.
If there is only one Virtual Service in the application, that Virtual
Service is pre-selected in the drop-down list. If there is more than one Virtual
Service, you can select a Virtual Service in the drop-down list to get a color-coded
breakdown of connections for each Real Server associated with that Virtual Service. This
allows you to:
- Determine Virtual Service traffic levels for comparison planning
- See how traffic is being load balanced
The Real Server breakdown graph is viewable in comparison with the total application connection numbers so you can easily view the portion of an application handled by a specific Virtual Service.
Large numbers of connections are indicated with prefixes:
- K: Thousand
- M: Million
- B: Billion
- T: Trillion
