There are gauges at the top of the CPU usage and Memory usage sections that provide a graphical indication of usage. The orange area represents usage from 70% to 84%. The red area represents usage from 85% upwards.

CPU usage

The CPU usage section provides details that can help you to identify a device that is operating close to capacity and potentially experiencing performance issues. The CPU utilization figures are based on the last read values from the LoadMaster. This section displays the following CPU utilization information for a given LoadMaster:
  • Total CPU usage: The percentage of load to the CPU of the LoadMaster
  • User processes: The percentage of the CPU spent processing in user mode
  • System processes: The percentage of the CPU spent processing in system mode
  • I/O waiting: The percentage of the CPU spent waiting for I/O to complete

If you are viewing the LoadMaster details page for a HA pair - the CPU utilization data is displayed for both LoadMasters.

If the LoadMaster becomes unreachable, the CPU usage section displays a dash (-) which means there is no CPU usage data available.

Memory usage

This section displays the percentage (MB) amount of memory in use, the amount of memory free, and the total memory of the LoadMaster.

If you are viewing the LoadMaster details page for a HA pair - the memory usage is displayed for both LoadMasters.

If the LoadMaster becomes unreachable, the memory usage section displays a dash (-) which means there is no memory usage data available.

Connections

The Connections section provides details about connections handled by the LoadMaster. This allows you to easily determine traffic levels across devices and identify those with large or small numbers of connections. The following LoadMaster connection information is displayed:
  • Current connection rate per second.
  • Maximum connection rate per second for today.
  • Total number of connections for today.

If the LoadMaster becomes unreachable, the Current rate section displays a dash (-) which means there is no data available for the current rate. If a LoadMaster becomes unreachable, the Today's max. rate and Total today values show data based on the records for earlier that day (if available). If no data is available, the values for these parameters displays as 0.

Note: The LoadMaster is deemed unreachable when LoadMaster 360 cannot contact it for more than 5 minutes.

SSL transactions per second and Transactions per second

The two sections SSL transactions per second and Transactions per second provide details about total number of Transactions Per Second and the number of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) transactions per second handled by the LoadMaster. This allows you to easily determine if the LoadMaster approaches any limits that could adversely impact application delivery. The following LoadMaster transaction information is displayed:
  • Current transaction rate per second.
  • Maximum transaction rate per second for today.
  • Maximum capacity for transactions.
The Current rate parameter appears in the following colors depending on the number of transactions per second handled by the LoadMaster:
  • Yellow (70%): States that the limit for transactions per second has met or exceeded 70% of capacity and displays a warning icon.
  • Red (85%): States that the limit for transactions per second has met or exceeded 85% of capacity and displays a critical (!) icon.

If the LoadMaster becomes unreachable, the Current rate section displays a dash (-) which means there is no data available for the current rate. If a LoadMaster becomes unreachable, the Today's max. rate and Maximum capacity values show data based on the records for earlier that day (if available). If no data is available, the values for these parameters displays as 0.
