Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) requires users to provide two verification factors (password and verification code) to gain access to LoadMaster 360. MFA is a core component of a strong Identify and Access Management (IAM) policy. Tenant owners can enable multi-factor authentication for their LoadMaster 360 tenant.
Enable MFA for the LoadMaster 360 tenant
Tenant owners can enable MFA for their LoadMaster 360 tenant by following these steps:
- In the LoadMaster 360 User Interface (UI), click the settings cog in the top-right.
- Click Multi-factor authentication.
- Enable the Activate multi-factor
authentication for all users toggle.Note: Enabling the Activate multi-factor authentication for all users provides LoadMaster 360 users on this LoadMaster 360 tenant with the ability to enable MFA for their own LoadMaster 360 accounts.
- You can either enable or disable the Require multi-factor authentication on login toggle. Note: If you enable this option, multi-factor authentication is required upon next sign in for all users of this tenant. Users will be forced to set up multi-factor authentication the next time they sign in to LoadMaster 360. If MFA is activated but not required, users can optionally set it up for their accounts.
When the Activate multi-factor authentication for all users toggle is enabled, MFA is activated for the tenant and the Enable button becomes clickable for all users. To set up MFA for your LoadMaster 360 account, follow the steps in the following section.
