The Applications tab in LoadMaster 360 provides a summary of the health of all applications being managed by all LoadMasters added to LoadMaster 360.

When a LoadMaster is added to LoadMaster 360, you are brought to the Application mapping screen to map Virtual Services to applications. You can use the Quick Mapping option, if desired, to automatically create a 1:1 mapping between each Virtual Service and application. Applications have a default nickname of VirtualServiceIPAddress:VirtualServicePort. If the Virtual Service has SubVSs, the SubVSs are mapped to the same Application.

At the top of the Applications screen, there is an overall summary of the entire health of all applications being managed. The three possible overall summaries are:

All applications healthy (Green)

Some application(s) need attention (Orange)

Some application(s) need attention (Red)

The overall summary allows you to quickly get verification that application delivery is OK or get prompted when something needs investigation. This overall summary is based on the worst status - for example, if one application has critical issues, you will get the overall summary of Some application(s) need attention in red.

Underneath the overall summary you can quickly see at a glance how many applications are Healthy and how many are in a Warning or Critical state.

You can filter the list by selecting a specific site (or sites) using the Site name drop-down list.

You can also filter by selecting a specific LoadMaster (or LoadMasters) using the LoadMaster drop-down list.

You can use the search box to narrow down the list of applications in your view.

You can click Reset at any time to return you to the default view of all applications.

The table shows details about the application, including the:
  • Name
  • Status
  • Site name
  • The LoadMaster the application is Connected to
  • Last updated date

You can include and exclude columns in the view using the Columns drop-down list.

The number of used assets versus the total available assets (based on your license) is shown in the top-right. If you click this, an overview of your organization's current asset usage for the current subscription period is shown. The total assets limit is shared across all asset types (LoadMasters and applications). There is a graphical representation of the number of used versus available assets. The number of mapped applications and LoadMasters is shown. You can click Go to Usage & billing to access that page to get further details. An application only counts as an asset if a Virtual Service is attached to it.

You can sort by any of the columns in the table by clicking the column name.

At the bottom of the Applications screen, you can specify how many applications to display per page. You can also move to different pages using the options in the bottom-right of the screen.
