Tabs

Tabs identify the site name on both the local and the remote system. Use the tabs to navigate among multiple connections.

In the local system on the left side of the main window, you see the My Computer tab. To open a second view, in the toolbar, select New Local View. A second My Computer tab appears.

When connected to a server, in the remote system on the right side of the main window, a tab shows the site name for the server. You can open multiple connections to FTP servers and a tab appears for each connection.

Click on a tab to show its associated file list. To close the active tab, click the close button (x) to the right of the tab.

To copy a file on the local system, you can drag-and drop a file from the currently displayed file list to a second My Computer tab.

You can do a site to site transfer by selecting files from the currently displayed remote file list and using drag-and-drop to a second FTP server tab.
