Confirming deletions

When you attempt to delete a file, you can have WS_FTP display a dialog box that confirms the deletion. This gives you a chance to change your mind, or to cancel a deletion you initiated by mistake. You can select this option for a particular FTP site, for all sites in a particular folder, or all sites.

To verify deletions from a particular site:

  1. Click Connect to open the Site Manager.
  2. Select the site in the Sites list, then click Edit.
  3. Select the Advanced page.
  4. Select Verify Deletions.
  5. Click OK.
