Sending a command to an FTP site

  1. In the toolbar, click Connect to open the Site Manager.
  2. Select the site in the Sites list, then click Edit.
  3. Select the Startup page.

In the Initialize Command text box, enter any commands you want to issue to the FTP site at the beginning of the session. Separate multiple commands with a semi-colon (;).

For example, the command SITE UMASK 022 changes the UMASK used when creating files (on a UNIX system).
