E-mail Notifications Overview

E-mail Notifications are e-mail messages sent when a file transfer matches the criteria you have specified. To use e- mail notifications, you must have access to an SMTP e-mail server.

E-mail notifications are triggered by one of the following events:

  • Upload succeeds
  • Upload fails
  • Download succeeds
  • Download fails
  • Either upload or download succeeds
  • Either upload or download fails

You can configure multiple e-mail notifications to match more complex patterns. For example, you can set notifications to notify on successful uploads and failed downloads with two separate notifications.

To configure e-mail notifications, select Tools > Options > E-mail Notifications.
