Linking folder navigation

Two connections that have the same folder structure can be linked so that navigation (and optionally folder creation) in one is repeated in the other.

By default, linked folders can share navigation only within folder structures that already exist on both connections.If you open a folder in one connection that does not exist in the other, the link is broken.

To enable Folder Linking:

  1. Navigate to the folders you want to link in the left and right panes.
  2. Click Link Folders on the toolbar, or select Tools > Link Folders.

Your folders will remained linked until you encounter a situation that breaks the link. An error dialog with an explanation is shown when the link is broken.
