Advanced Tab (WS_FTP Professional)

The Advanced tab allows you to do two things: specify a file size and/or indicate the number of times you want to retry to connect to a site.

If you are searching for a file, do one of the following:

  • In Size, select At least to search for a minimum file size or At most to search for a maximum file size. Then, indicate the minimum or maximum size of the files you want to find. For example, if you select At Least and enter 50 in KB, the Find Utility looks for all files that are 50K or larger.
  • To disregard file size in the search, select the first, blank option in Size.
  • To have the Find Utility retry connecting to an FTP site if the first attempt fails, enter the number of times to retry the connection in the Retry the Connection box.
Note: You can’t use Size to search for a folder, since all folder have a size of zero, even if they’re not empty.
