Searching by Size (WS_FTP Professional)

When searching for files, you can specify a minimum or maximum file size. However, you can’t search for folders by size, since folder size is always zero, even if the folder is not empty.

  1. Click the Advanced tab.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • In the Size box, select At least to search for a minimum file size or At most to search for a maximum file size. Then, indicate the minimum or maximum size of the files you want to find.

      For example, if you select At Least in the Size box and enter 50 in the KB box, the Find Utility looks for all files that are 50K or larger.

    • To disregard file size in the search, make sure that [blank] is selected in the Size box.
