Connecting to a MOVEit DMZ Server using HTTPS (WS_FTP Professional)
- In the Connections menu, select New Connection.
- Follow the directions in the Connection Wizard to set the Site name, Connection type, Server address, User name and password.
- On the last screen of the wizard (the Finish screen), click Advanced. The Site Options dialog opens.
In the left pane, select Advanced. The Advanced options page opens.
- For Server type, select HTTPS.
- For Host type, select MOVEit DMZ.
- On the Finish screen, click Advanced to open the Site Options.
- In the Site Options, in the left pane select Startup. Set the Remote site folder to the name of your folder on the HTTP server.Note: If MOVEit DMZ is installed on a virtual directory in IIS6, you must enter the virtual directory name along with the IP address or hostname of the MOVEit DMZ server. To do this, in the Site options, select Host Info; in the Host Name box, enter the server and the directory name; for example: 156.212.3.184/virtualdirectoryname
Then, click Ok to close the Site Options.
- On the Finish screen, make sure Connect to this site is selected, then click Finish. WS_FTP connects to the site and displays the user home folder.
