Executing files

When you open or execute a file from within WS_FTP, the file is opened in the application that Windows associates with the file extension (via the Windows API "ShellExecute" function.)

To open or execute a file, select the file and then click Execute. If the file is on an FTP site, WS_FTP transfers the file to your Temp directory. The file is opened in the application that Windows associates with the file extension.
