Synchronize Utility Compare Dialog
When a control file is executed in WS_FTP Synchronize, the Compare dialog appears. This dialog displays the status of the job, the log, and a list of actions to be performed.
The features on this dialog include:
Compare
- Location List - This section shows the selected directories and the synchronize mode.
- File List - Lists the files to be transferred and the synchronize action for each file. If you select the Show files/folders that won't be transferred, all files that are found are displayed.
- File Name - The name of the file found.
- Status- The location the source file is in (Location 1 or Location 2).
- Action - The action that Synchronize will perform. Click the arrow button to change the synchronize action.
- Modified (Loc1) - The date the file on Location 1 was last modified.
- Modified (Loc2) - The date the file on Location2 was last modified.
- Size (Loc1) - The size of the file found on Location 1.
- Size (Loc2) - The size of the file found on Location 2.
Transfer
The Transfer view displays the progress of the synchronization:
- Source - The path and name of the file or folder to be transferred.
- Status - The current status code of the listed item. Click the pause icon to pause the transfer and click the play icon to start or resume the transfer.
- Transferred - The size of the transfer in bytes.
- Rate (KB/S) - The number of Kilobytes being transferred per second.
- Time Left - The estimated time left until the transfer is complete.
Connection Log
The Connection log displays connection and FTP information as a task is performed in the Synchronize Utility. When Show FTP conversation in log is selected, the log window displays all of the communications between Synchronize and the server or local system.
Buttons
- Synchronize - Click this button to run the synchronize job.
- Close- Click to close the Compare dialog.
- Cancel - Click to cancel the job.
