Connecting to an Internet Service Provider

Because the FTP sites of ISPs (Internet Service Providers) often contain thousands of folders/directories (one for each user), you can experience long delays and occasional timeouts when you try to connect to an ISP FTP site. This is due to the fact that it takes a long time for the FTP site to send its folder listing to WS_FTP.

You can easily get around this sort of delay by entering the path and/or name of your folder (on the FTP site) into the FTP site configuration.
