The Virtual Monitoring Host Details dashboard is a preconfigured dashboard view available for use immediately following WhatsUp Gold installation. The dashboard contains the following reports:
- Virtual Machines CPU Utilization
- Host Attributes
- Virtual Machines Memory Utilization
- Virtual Machines Disk Activity
- Virtual Machines Interface Utilization
- Host CPU Utilization - Last Poll
- Host Memory Utilization - Last Poll
- Host Disk Utilization - Last Poll
- Host Interface Utilization - Last Poll
These dashboard reports display data for an individual VMware or Hyper-V host to allow you to monitor all aspects of the device without the need to create a custom dashboard and subsequently add and configure each individual report. Use the source selector to choose the host device for which to display data.
Hyper-V and VMWare virtual devices report memory statistics differently.
- When reporting usage, VMWare displays active memory and Hyper-V displays assigned memory.
- When reporting allocation, VMWare displays consumed memory and Hyper-V displays memory demand.
- When reporting maximum, VMWare displays granted memory and Hyper-V displays maximum memory.
Please note, when viewed on the Host Details dashboard, these individual dashboard reports can not be customized aside from selecting the target device. To configure an individual dashboard report to display data for a specific device, you must add it to a custom dashboard you create.
