The Refresh Summary Report allows the user to determine when a licensed device was last scanned and subsequently when applicable data was updated. It provides insight into the accuracy of the data used for creating and displaying maps as well as for inventory reporting in WhatsUp Gold. Additionally, the report shows when a device was first discovered and monitored, so it can also give you an idea about which devices could potentially need a refresh. Each item displayed on the report is appended with details such as who initiated the event, when it was initiated, and what type of activity was accomplished.

To customize report data to better fit your needs:

  • Use the controls at the upper-left corner of the interface to select a device or device group, or alternately select a predefined subnet, in order to limit the report data displayed.
  • Hover your mouse over any column header, then click the icon that appears to display a drop-down menu to further refine results and customize the report by choosing which data points appear in the report. Hover over Columns, then select the applicable column or columns you'd like to see on the Refresh Summary Report.
  • Use the same drop-down menu to sort report data and apply user-defined, column-specific filters.
