The Host Interface Utilization - Last Poll dashboard report provides the average value of the network interface utilization for a selected VMware host. The following information is displayed:

  • Description. Displays the network interface through which the selected host is sending and receiving data.
  • Speed. Displays the speed of the interface.
  • Transmit. Displays the number of data packets transmitted in bits per second.
  • Receive. Displays the number of data packets received in bits per second.
  • Transmit. Displays the percentage of data packets transmitted.
  • Receive. Displays the percentage of data packets received.
Note: Individual dashboard reports can only be configured to display data for a specific device when added to a custom dashboard you create. When viewed as part of either the preconfigured Host Details or Virtual Machine Details dashboard views, individual dashboard reports cannot be customized and only display data for the device selected for the entire dashboard view.
