In the upper-left corner of the user interface, you'll see a drop-down menu under Deck > from which you can select any existing NOC Viewer slide deck. There is also a New slide deck... option which allows you to begin creating a new deck.
In the center are the controls and indicators for the slide deck currently active in the NOC Viewer. They are:
![]() |
This slide counter indicates which slide in the deck is currently being displayed. |
![]() |
Click this button to edit the configuration of the slide currently being displayed. |
![]() |
This timer indicates how many seconds remain before the next slide in the deck is displayed. |
![]() |
Use these controls to pause/play the NOC Viewer on the current slide or alternately navigate directly to the first, previous, next, or last slide in the deck. |
In the opposite corner, note that the icons displayed are significantly different than those present in the main WhatsUp Gold user interface and specific to the NOC Viewer. From here you can perform the following actions:
Determine if a session timeout is enabled and, if so, temporarily suspend the timeout until the NOC Viewer is closed. |
Access the NOC Viewer library or edit the current slide deck. |
Add the current slide deck to your WhatsUp Gold Favorites. |
Disable all editing by locking the NOC Viewer. Please note, when attempting to unlock the NOC Viewer, you'll be prompted to enter the password for the current user. |
Launch the NOC Viewer-specific help content. |
Enter full screen mode. Please note, when in full screen mode, you can only lock/unlock the NOC Viewer or exit full screen mode. |
Close the NOC Viewer and return to the main WhatsUp Gold user interface. |
