The Alert Center dashboard provides a centralized view of device thresholds and policies applied. At the top of the user interface, you'll see options to view all items at once, only items out of threshold, or only items in threshold (that were previously out of threshold). Additionally, this dashboard view allows you to filter by either threshold type or specific threshold and sort by either items out of threshold or threshold name.

The next section of the Alert Center Dashboard, entitled Running Notification Policies, presents the following information:

  • Policy Name. The name of the policy as configured in the Alert Center Libraries dialog.
  • Notification Progress. The individual step currently active in the notification schedule.
  • Triggered By. The name of the threshold that triggered the notification policy.
  • Time Created: The date and time the notification policy was triggered.
At left, is the list of thresholds which, using the toggle control mentioned previously, can be sorted by either number of items out of threshold (high to low) or by threshold name alphabetically. The number in parentheses to the right of each threshold name displayed is the number of items either out of threshold or currently in threshold (that were previously out of threshold) depending on your Alert Center Dashboard view selection for a set period of time. The applicable date/time range can be set by selecting SETTINGS > System Settings > Alert Data Retention and then configuring retention times for log and items data as needed using the dialog provided. Please note, although the number shown in parentheses may exceed 10,000 initially, only the most recent 10,000 items can be displayed once the threshold is selected.

At right, is the list of items applicable to the threshold selected in the column at left. The information presented is dependent upon the type of threshold selected. Click the icon to the left of any individual item to select either Item Details or to launch a related full-page report.
