Understand column data

The default view of each report contains a grid with the following columns:

  • Device. Device hostname, IP address, or custom label.

  • Count. The number of down monitors on the device.
  • Monitors. A list of each down monitor on the device.

When a single device is selected instead of a group, the following columns are displayed:

  • Start Date. The date and time the individual monitor went Down.
  • Duration. The length of time elapsed since the individual monitor went into a Down state.
  • State. The current state of the individual monitor. This should always be Down and may be appended with a general timeframe in which the Down status occurred.
  • Message. Additional information about why the individual monitor went into a Down state, if available.
