The Devices interface provides details about all devices being monitored by WhatsUp Gold 360.
To access this view, click Infrastructure > Devices in the menu at the top of the
WhatsUp Gold 360 interface. You can select any static or dynamic device group for
display by clicking the
icon and selecting from the list at left.
The list of devices displayed is searchable and can be filtered by Role, Sub role, Brand, Operating System, Credential, Credential Type, and/or Device group using the Filter control at the top of the interface. The search field and filter controls can be hidden from view by clicking Collapse filters at the right side of the interface. To remove all filters applied and revert to the default view, click Reset.
You can also save the device interface with a specific filter, or filters applied. When your desired filter(s) have been applied, click Save. Either enter a name for the new view in the entry field that appears, then click Save or choose to update an existing view, select that view name, then click Save. Access a list of saved views by clicking Saved views.
For each device displayed, you can see the following information:
- Device Name.
- Host Name.
- IP Address.
- Site Name.
- Connector Name.
- Monitors.
- Groups.
- Credentials.
- Interfaces.
- Notes.
- Attributes.
- Dependency.
- Role.
- Brand.
- Operating System.
These columns can be alternately displayed or hidden based on user preference. Click Columns at the right side of the interface. This launches a dialog containing a toggle control for each column. Use these controls to specify which user information should be displayed. Columns displayed can also be sorted and filtered as needed using the controls visible when hovering over any column header.
For additional information about a specific device displayed here, click any column in the row to lauch the Device Details panel.
