To add an instance of WhatsUp Gold:

  1. Click Add > WhatsUp Gold to access the Add WhatsUp Gold interface.
  2. Select desired connector by clicking the radio button to the left of the connector name.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Enter a display name for your WhatsUp Gold instance.
  5. Enter the fully qualified domain name or IPv4 address and port number of your WhatsUp Gold server.
  6. Indicate if WhatsUp Gold 360 should ignore any certificate errors by selecting the applicable checkbox. Please note, this setting is required when using an IP address as your WhatsUp Gold server and not providing the certificate thumbprint.
  7. Enter your certificate thumbprint, if desired. Please note, certificates that match the thumbprint entered will be trusted. If this entry field is left blank, only certificates from a trusted certificate authority will be accepted.
  8. Enter an Admin username and password combination. The account information provided must be an internal WhatsUp Gold user with full admin rights.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Review the information about the WhatsUp Gold instance you've provided, then click Finish.
