This panel appears when a line item is selected on the Devices user interface. It presents all available information about the device and its current status.
In the upper-left portion of the panel, you can see the Site name, Connector name, WhatsUp Gold and instance associated with the device. Each of these items is hyperlinked and, when clicked, redirects you to the corresponding area of WhatsUp Gold 360. Additionally, you can see the Role, Brand, Operating System, and Dependency information if available and/or applicable. Next, you can see a visual representation of the current active monitor states; green for up, red for down, and blue for maintenance. To the far right, you can see any additional notes about the device (e.g., the date and time the device was last scanned by discovery).
The lower half of the panel is divided into six individual tabs:
- Monitors. Displays the list of monitors assigned to the device, as well as each monitor's current state, and how long each monitor has been in its current state.
- Attributes. Displays a list of attributes and their values assigned to the device.
- Groups. Displays the list of device groups to which the device belongs.
- Credentials. Displays the list of credentials and their types assigned to the device.
- Interfaces. Displays the Host Name and IP address of interfaces on the device.
- Inventory. Displays extensive information about the device contents. Select Asset details, Credential scan information, Installed software, Interfaces, Port scan information, or Windows services from the drop-down menu provided. Please note, the information on the Inventory tab is searchable and can be exported for use external of WhatsUp Gold 360 as a .csv or .json file.
