Select the connector you want to edit on the Connectors/Server Instances user interface, then click Edit to launch the Edit connector dialog where you can view and/or modify the following:

Connector details

  • Connector name. The name of the connector used by WhatsUp Gold 360.
  • Network settings. The IP address of the connector.
  • Site name. The name of the connector site defined by the user.

Please note, if you need to modify the IP address or disk size, you must create a new connector.

Connection data

  • Enable the applicable checkbox(es) to Collect historical traceroute data and/or historical connection latency and packet loss data.

Network verification endpoint

  • Select the applicable radio button to specify the endpoint used for both ping and traceroute to track latency and path changes. You can choose to use the default endpoint (whatsupgold.com) or define a Custom endpoint.

Please note, the custom endpoint can be an IPv4 address or a fully qualified domain name (FQDN).
