The Amazon S3 Configuration settings allow you to define the global AWS configuration file path that MOVEit Automation uses for S3 authentication at service startup.

To access these settings:

Select SYSTEM > Settings .

On the S3 Configuration row, click Edit .

To configure the file path:
  1. Enter or browse to the full path to the AWS configuration file used for S3 authentication.
  2. Save your changes.
  3. Restart the MOVEit Automation service for the changes to take effect.
The file will be read the first time an S3 Host or Task attempts to use the config file.

This option is only required if using the AWS Config File option on an S3 Host or Task Override.

This setting is only required if you want MOVEit Automation to use:
  • Named AWS profiles
  • credential_process
  • IAM Roles Anywhere
It is not required for basic access key–based S3 configurations.
