Description |
|---|---|
|
Override Default Retry Count |
Number of extra times that a transfer (get or put) is retried before MOVEit Automation no longer attempts the transfer. Default is 0 - transfer is not retried after a failure. Specify a retry count. |
|
Override Default Retry Timeout |
The number of seconds between retries of a transfer (get or put). Default is 30 seconds. Specify a retry timeout. |
|
Override Default Preserve File Timestamp on Upload |
Select to retain the original modified date of the source file on the destination, regardless of the host’s default configuration. |
|
Preserve File Timestamp on Upload |
Select to preserve the original timestamp when transferring files.
Note: If any script in a task modifies a file, such as PGP
encryption, the original timestamp will not be preserved, even if this option is enabled.
The file is considered changed, and a new timestamp is applied. |
For sync tasks, the preserve file timestamp option is available for both unidirectional and bidirectional syncs. In unidirectional syncs, the setting applies only to the host configured on Folder B. In bidirectional syncs, it applies to both hosts on Folder A and Folder B, ensuring timestamp preservation across both ends of the sync.
