Note: Do not delete a key listed under Private keys unless you have a backup copy of it. Without the key, you cannot decrypt messages that were encrypted by the sender with the public component of that key.

To remove a key from your keyring:

  1. Click RESOURCES > Keys and Certs .
  2. In the list of keys and certs, select the key.

    You can filter the list.

    The properties page for the key opens.
  3. In the upper right corner of the page, click Delete . Confirm the deletion.
