You can use the Hosts widget to view the number of assigned and unassigned hosts and to add a host.

Data changes are automatically pushed to each of the widgets. The widget visualization is updated accordingly.

To view specific host details, complete one or more of the following steps.

  • To view assigned hosts, click the Assigned button.

    The Hosts page is displayed. The Assigned filter is automatically applied.

  • To view unassigned hosts, click the Unassigned button.

    The Hosts page is displayed. The Unassigned filter is automatically applied.

To add a new host, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Add link to open the Add new host dialog box.
  2. Select the Host type and click Next. For more information, see Supported Host Types.
  3. Input property values based for the selected host type. The available categories and properties differ depending on your Host type.
  4. To save your changes, click Add Host.
