Use the Browse Active Directory dialog (SETTINGS > System Settings > External Authentication > Active Directory / LDAP Server Setup) to select the Active Directory (AD) groups from which you want to allow users to log in to WhatsUp Gold.

To select groups from the Browse Active Directory dialog:

  1. Click Browse AD/LDAP groups.
  2. Enter a valid user name that has access to the LDAP or Active Directory server in the Username field.
  3. Enter the password associated with the user name in the Password field.
  4. Search for or select an AD group from the list displayed.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Select the AD groups you want to map to WhatsUp Gold groups.
  7. Click Save.
