Phase 5 - Post-Cutover Validation

Use this phase to make sure the migration finished correctly and the system still works.

The steps in this phase are:

• Run functional tests—Test the app to make sure the main features still work after cutover. Verify that:
  • Search returns results.
  • Facets and filters work.
  • Alerts are triggered.
  • Transforms run correctly.
  • Content-processing jobs still run.
  • Triggers that react to data changes still work.
  • Data Hub flows operate correctly.
• Check data integrity—Compare the migrated data with the source system to make sure nothing was lost or changed. Confirm document counts, sample hashes, triple and row counts, and binary files have the correct values.
• Verify security—Confirm that users can sign in and that role mapping, SSL/TLS, cipher settings, and keystore import work.
• Review performance—Confirm that reindexing is complete, the merge backlog is small, the cache is warm, and there are no hotspots.
