Note:
In this phase, the Progress Data Cloud Operations Team initially sets the service endpoints. After provisioning, the tenant can manage the endpoints if needed. The tenant can also complete the remaining steps in this phase.
Use this phase to build the target environment in PDC so it matches the migration plan from Phase 1 - Discovery and Planning. By the end of this phase, the MarkLogic service should be provisioned, access should be verified, and any migration tools or security settings should be ready.
The steps in this phase are:
- Provision the MarkLogic service—Create the service in PDC and verify access to the admin UI, management UI, and service endpoints.
- Confirm the service configuration—Review the app servers, databases, forests, range indexes, rebalancing rules, Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), and scheduled tasks.
- Verify security settings—Review the roles, users, privileges, external authentication settings, and keystore or certificate assets.
