Use these operational considerations for migrations in PDC:

For API integration guidance, see API integration.

  • Service endpoints—Use PDC-issued base paths and cloud authentication for MarkLogic REST servers when those options are available. For endpoint configuration, see Configure endpoints.

  • Observability — Use platform telemetry for MarkLogic metrics and logs, and monitor the service closely after cutover for merges and cache warming. For log streaming configuration, see OpenTelemetry log streaming . MarkLogic logs can also be accessed using the MarkLogic Admin Interface.

  • Governance — Keep audit logs for migration jobs, including runs, parameters, and results, so you can support root-cause analysis and compliance.
