Notes:
- The tenant can perform the steps in this phase.
- If you selected Blue/Green, keep dual-write enabled until you finish the cutover and verify the application.
Use this phase to freeze writes on the source system, complete the final data sync, and shift traffic to PDC.
The steps in this phase are:
- Stop writing data to the source system—Stop writing data to the source system, unless you are using the Blue/Green option. In that scenario, leave dual-write enabled.
- Complete the final data sync—Copy any changes that were made after the earlier sync, either by running a Flux top-off load or by shipping and replaying the final journals on PDC.
- Shift traffic to PDC—Point traffic to the PDC app servers and endpoints, then run smoke tests and verify indexes and alerts.
- Monitor and accept cutover—Watch telemetry, error rates, merge activity, and query latency until acceptance criteria are met.
