Validation Checklist

Use this checklist to confirm that the migration completed successfully and that the target MarkLogic service in PDC is ready for normal use.

• Verify that counts by collection and directory stay within the acceptable range you defined for the migration.
• Verify that Optic sample queries return the expected triples and row views.
• Confirm that binary document sampling and sizes are correct.
• Check that TDE templates are deployed and downstream exports, for example CSV, Parquet, and JDBC, are functional.
• Verify that roles, users, and privileges are mapped correctly, and that any external authentication, such as LDAP or Kerberos, still work.
• Confirm that TLS endpoints are up, cert chains are valid, and ciphers meet policy.
• Validate that reindexing and merging are complete, there is no backlog, and baseline latencies are acceptable.
• Verify that application smoke tests pass for search, write, transforms, and alerts.
