Authentication methods are essential for securing endpoint configurations by ensuring that only authorized applications can access and interact with them. Each endpoint requires an associated authentication method to establish trusted communication. Authentication methods are reusable and can be assigned to one or more endpoints of the same type, simplifying setup and maintenance.
Before adding an endpoint, you must first add an authentication method for it.
