Create an Azure Blob Storage endpoint

To add a new Azure Blob Storage endpoint:
  1. Click the Libraries drop-down menu and select Endpoints.
  2. Click the Add Endpoints drop-down menu and select Azure Blob Storage.
  3. The New Azure Blob Storage Endpoint dialog appears.

General

Enter basic endpoint details:
  • Name: Provide a unique name for the endpoint.
  • Description: Optionally, enter a description to help identify the purpose or scope of this endpoint.
  • Account Name: Enter the name of the Azure Storage account.
  • Container Name: Specify the name of the container you want to connect to.
  • Authentication Method: Select a valid Authentication Method from the authentication method library, or to add a new Authentication Method, click Add New. For more information, see Azure Blob Storage authentication method. This Authentication Method requires permissions to the Azure Blob container.

Connection

Configure connection parameters:
  • Use TLS: Use TLS is enabled by default, clear the check box to disable if necessary.

Retry

Define retry behavior:
  • Retry Count: Number of extra times that a transfer is retried.
  • Retry Delay: The time between each retry.
  • Use the time unit drop-down menu to select a time measurement for the retry delay.

Save the endpoint

Click Save to create the endpoint.
