Create a SharePoint endpoint

To add a new SharePoint endpoint:
  1. Click the Libraries drop-down menu and select Endpoints.
  2. Click the Add Endpoints drop-down menu and select SharePoint.
  3. The New SharePoint Endpoint dialog appears.

General

Enter basic endpoint details:
  • Name: Provide a unique name for the endpoint.
  • Description: Optionally, enter a description to help identify the purpose or scope of this endpoint.
  • Account Name: Enter the Account Name that identifies your SharePoint instance, ending with .sharepoint.com.
  • Site URL prefix: Enter the URL prefix:
    • /sites/: This prefix is used for SharePoint site collections.
    • /teams/: This prefix is used for SharePoint sites that are associated with Microsoft Teams.
    • other..: This option allows you to specify a custom prefix if your SharePoint environment uses a different structure or a non-standard URL path.
  • Site: Enter the name of the site on your SharePoint instance, if you are not using the default location.
  • Document Library Name: Enter the Document Library name. The SharePoint document library provides a secure place to store files. The Document Library is applied to the sources and destinations of tasks using this SharePoint host.
  • Authentication Method: Select a valid Authentication Method from the authentication method library, or to add a new Authentication Method, click Add New. For more information, see SharePoint authentication method.

Retry

Define retry behavior:
  • Retry Count: Number of extra times that a transfer is retried.
  • Retry Delay: The time between each retry.
  • Use the time unit drop-down menu to select a time measurement for the retry delay.

Save the endpoint

Click Save to create the endpoint.
