Automate MFT provides a centralized approach to managing authentication methods, ensuring streamlined connectivity across endpoints. Before configuring endpoints, users must create authentication methods. This ensures that all connections are securely authenticated from the outset.
Centralized management
Authentication methods, including credentials, keys, and tokens, are stored in a central library, independent of individual endpoints. This separation allows for control, visibility, and reuse of authentication methods across the platform.
Once an authentication method is created, it can be reused across multiple endpoints. This is beneficial for scenarios like password rotation, updating the credential in the central library automatically updates all associated endpoints, reducing manual effort.
