OpenEdge users have multiple tools for creating and deleting databases.

OpenEdge enables database creation through the several utilities. Graphical interface users may create databases using the Data Dictionary or Data Administration, and character interface users may use the Data Dictionary. You may also convert a database from a prior release to the current release.

The PRODEL utility lets you delete a database.
