General Support API

This section describes the functions available to an IP for memory allocation and tracing. You should implement your IP to use the memory functions for memory management; otherwise, you risk memory fragmentation and poor performance. You can use the OpenAccess SDK tracing function to log trace messages to the same file as the SQL engine processing messages are logged.
