The silent version of the Management Command Line is oaclasil.exe. When you use oaclasil.exe, the console window is disabled. The output of oaclasil.exe goes to the output files designated by -o and -e in the command line. To troubleshoot oaclasil.exe, either look at the output files, or use oacla.exe to run the command.

See Commonly Used OpenAccess SDK Manager Commands for the command line options for oaclasil.exe.

For example, to create a data access service:

"C:\\Program Files\\Progress\\Customer\\oaserver81\\admin\\oaclasil.exe" -e "C:\\Temp\\oaserver.log" -d "C:\\Program Files\\Progress\\Customer\\oaserver81\\cfg\\oadm.ini" servicecreate "\\"OpenAccessSDK810_C\\"" OA81_OpenAccessSDKforC 19986
