Working with Device Properties

To use device properties with a selected device:

1. Go to the Index tab, then navigate to WhatsUp Gold Devices & Discovery > Devices and Groups.
2. Expand the device group that contains the device you want to update.
3. Select a device and then click the row menu option next to the selected device.
4. Click Device Properties. The Properties dialog appears.
5. Select the device property that you want to configure.
   • Device information
   • Device details
   • Credentials
   • Performance monitors
   • Active monitors
   • Passive monitors
   • Polling and Maintenance
   • Actions and Action Policies
   • Virtualization Monitor
   • 設定管理
   • Wireless

     Virtualization and Wireless device property options are only visible if the plug ins are included in your WhatsUp Gold package.

6. Configure the selected device property as needed.
