This page provides an overview of the current system status, network interfaces, and monitoring ports of the appliance.
System
The System panel shows the current system status:
- Uptime - Configured hostname and system uptime
- System load - System load averages for the last 1, 5, and 15 minutes
- Memory - Total appliance memory and current used memory as a percentage
- Data disk usage:
- Total data disk size
- The two groups that are currently using the most data disk space, for example, Monitoring Center - Profiles and Monitoring Center - Other
- The current data disk space used by the rest (Other)
- The current free space on the data disk (Free)
- System disk usage - Total size of the system disk and current space used (as a percentage)
- Boot disk usage - Total size of the boot disk and current space used (as a percentage)
- Storage health status - SMART disk health status for hardware appliances. If the storage health status changes, an email is sent to all users with administrator privileges.
RAID Status
The RAID Status panel shows the current RAID status:
- RAID type - Configured RAID type, for example, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6, or RAID10
- State - RAID status, for example, Optimal or Degraded
Hover over the state icon to view a list of disks in the RAID and their status. The icon color indicates the RAID state: green means optimal, orange means degraded, and red means there is a critical RAID failure. If the RAID status changes, an email is sent to all users with administrator privileges.
This panel is only displayed on hardware appliances with a configured RAID.
Network Interfaces
The Network Interfaces panel shows the current status of connected network interfaces:
- Icon - Link status: red if the link is down, green if the link is up
- Interface - Network interface name, for example, net0 or net2
- Index - Interface index (ifindex)
- Type - Interface type, for example, management or monitoring
- MAC address - MAC address of the interface
- IP address - IP address of the interface
- Speed - Detected interface speed
- RX bytes - Number of bytes received by the interface
- TX bytes - Number of bytes transmitted by the interface
- MTU - Configured Maximum Transmission Unit of the interface
Monitoring Ports
The Monitoring Ports panel shows the current status of the monitoring ports:
- Icon - Monitoring port status
- Interface - Network interface used by the monitoring port
- Targets - Number of configured targets for the monitoring port, with a summary of each target
- Active/inactive Timeouts - Configured active and inactive timeouts for the monitoring port
