Management Interface 2 is typically used when you want to separate management traffic from flow data traffic.
The Interface index is used to retrieve interface properties and status through SNMP.
Link configuration
Only hardware appliances can configure link settings other than MTU. Virtual appliances inherit link settings from the hypervisor. Select Auto-negotiation to let the interface negotiate optimal settings automatically.
IP configuration
Management Interface 2 only supports static IPv4 and IPv6 address configuration (DHCP is not available). Click New static route to open a form that lets you add an IPv4 or IPv6 static route.
Click Save to apply configuration changes.
