To access these settings: In the left pane, click SETTINGS. In the Security Policies section, locate the User Settings row. Click Folder Quotas.
Folder Quotas
Specifies the user folder quota setting for the organization. Folder quota warning settings are also used for per-folder quotas.
- Default User Folder Quota. Maximum size of all files that a user has uploaded to the system. Does not include packages and attachments. Value of 0 indicates no quota.
- Folder Quota Warning Settings. Specifies the type of warning and when to
display it.
- Folder Quota Warning Type. Options: Greater than a percentage of the quota, or within a specified number of KBs or MBs of the quota.
- Folder Quota Warning Value. Based on the Warning Type you selected, specify a percentage or number

Default Folder
Specifies the default user chroot default folder setting for the organization.

Users with this option enabled will see their default folder as their root folder when logging on from the FTPS and SFTP interfaces. The configured value will be applied to all new users, and an option will be given to apply the new setting to existing users as well.
Unique Full Names
Click the Require user Full Names to be unique checkbox to block multiple users from using the same full name, per organization. This setting is meant to prevent ambiguity for cases where the full name might be used casually as a cue for identifying a user.

Users with this option enabled will see their default folder as their root folder when logging on from the FTPS and SFTP interfaces. The configured value will be applied to all new users, and an option will be given to apply the new setting to existing users as well.
Cache Retention (Folder Permissions)
If permissions are cached, the system does not need to rebuild the user's permission set between active sessions. Longer cache times can reduce latency perceived by users for cases where MOVEit Transfer has to build a fresh permissions set.
- For FileAdmins and Admins: this setting applies only to mailboxes.
- All other permissions are controlled by the Shared Admin Folder Access Cache Retention setting.
Default User
Control the length of time that a user's personal folder permissions remain cached and maintained by the MOVEit Transfer database after all sessions associated with that user have ended.
Folder Access Cache Retention Settings (Shared Admin)
Control the length of time that FileAdmin and Admin folder permissions remain cached and maintained in the MOVEit Transfer database after all sessions associated with that user have ended.
