Change Package Viewing Sharing Settings page ( ORGS > [ current-licensed-org-name] > Security Information - Administrator Package Access - Change Settings) enables the SysAdmin to configure package access settings for administrators in the current organization.
Administrator Package Access settings determine if administrators of an organization can view Ad Hoc Transfer log entries, packages, and files.
- Package (also referred to as "Ad Hoc") log record viewing.
- Package/attachment viewing.
To access Package Viewing/Sharing settings:
- As SysAdmin, click ORGS. Then, from the Licensed Organizations
section, click the organization name.
The Organization Profile ( current-org-name) page displays.
- In the Security Information section, find the Administrator Package
Access choice and click Change Settings.
The Change Package Viewing/Sharing Settings... page displays.
- Make selections in the following fields. (To save changes, click Change Package
View Settings)
Show Ad Hoc Transfer Entries in Log View.
Note: When set to Enabled, Audit log entries related to Ad Hoc Transfer will display in the main LOGS page. Administrators can view all Ad Hoc Transfer-related log entries across the organization.View current or choose a new setting for Show Ad Hoc Transfer Log Entries: Enabled, Disabled
Allow Administrators to view user Ad Hoc Transfer packages and files.
Note: When enabled, this setting:- Allows Org Administrators or both Org Administrators and Group Administrators to view the mailboxes and packages for users under their control and download any attachments associated with those packages.
- Enables shared mailboxes for users.
- Viewing a package or downloading an attachment produces an audit log entry that is visible to the user. No viewing or download limits are affected.
View current or choose a setting:
- Disabled
- Administrators may view user packages and files, but Group Admins may not.
- Administrators and Group Admins may view user packages and files.
