Installing the ODBC Client Silently

Follow the instructions on the Progress Web site to download the appropriate installation file:

• oaodbc32_win_version_setup.exe for 32-bit environments
• oaodbc64_win_version_setup.exe for 64-bit environments

1. Using a command-line, change to the directory containing the installation file, or ensure that this directory is on your path.

2. Type the command:

   oaodbcnn**_win***_version***_setup.exe /s /v"arguments /qn /l*v \"c:\oaodbcnn**.txt\" "**

   where nn identifies the environment, and version is the version number of the release.

   The installation proceeds without any further user intervention or notification.
