Certain choices you make on the Getting Started page allow you to migrate scripted databases to managed databases recognized by the AdminServer and OpenEdge Management, and define monitoring and trending options for file systems and disks.

Once you establish these initial resource-monitoring options, you can set more specific monitoring criteria for individual resources. Similarly, you can also manually initiate resource discovery of TCP- and UDP-based applications. See Monitor OpenEdge Resources with OpenEdge Management for more details.
