Add Cipher or MAC

This page is used to choose one or more ciphers or MACs to use with an SSH listener. Only the ciphers or MACs that are not already selected appear here. If the list is empty, then all available ciphers or MACs are already assigned to the listener.

  1. From the top menu, select Server > Listeners. The Listeners page opens.
  2. Click the IP address of the listener you want to open. The Edit Listener page opens. At the bottom of the page, click Edit SSH Settings. The Listener Encryption Settings (SSH) page opens.
  3. To add a cipher, select Add below the list of ciphers. The Add Cipher page opens. To add a MAC, select Add below the list of MACs. The Add MAC page opens.
  4. Select the cipher or MAC you want to add, then click OK.
